A CATS Program Orientation is where you go to find out and learn how CATS can be one of the most effective tools available to you and your agency
It's no secret that CATS provides thousands of opportunities each year for your agency's program participants to attend sporting events, fine arts performances and visit some of the most popular attractions in the Bay Area such as Monterey Bay Aquarium, Alcatraz and the California Academy of Sciences. These events provide necessary socialization opportunities to be used as tools towards your participants' success. You will walk out of the Orientation knowing how to use Community Access Ticket Service (CATS) to help your clients reach their goals.
CATS works with no more than TWO people at your agency or program. The first person is the Primary Contact. The second person is the Backup Contact. Your agency is STRONGLY encouraged to have a Backup Contact for when the Primary Contact is on vacation or otherwise absent. BOTH contact people are required to attend an orientation, and attendance is highly recommended for other staff members (e.g. those who accompany participants to events). Below you will find the dates, times, and locations of the next scheduled orientations.
We’re looking forward to meeting you and learning more about your program and those you serve!
